Mr & Mrs Auld, Milngavie
Finish: Tarsuinn Lacquered Oak
Our experience of working with Ashley Ann has been a pleasure from the moment we first visited the showroom. The designer we worked with could not have been more helpful and understanding of our requirements. She listened carefully to our brief and came up with a design which exceeded our expectations. She helped us with decision making regarding materials and advised us very fairly on costs. All the tradesmen who were involved in the installation were delightful, and when we had a small problem they returned immediately to help to resolve it. We now have a kitchen which has transformed our house and also the way we live; we could not be happier with the completed design.
Mr & Mrs Auld were looking to design a new kitchen within an extension to their existing property. The kitchen space was open plan to the living area and an informal dining space was required. Extra storage was a crucial aspect of the new kitchen, therefore, using the extra space available due to the high ceiling was welcomed by the clients. The customers were keen to select a traditional oak door but were looking to achieve a more modern feel within the kitchen hence the use of 25mm framing around the units and a modern glass splash back in vibrant purple, the customer’s favourite colour.
The inclusion of a tall open unit facing the breakfast bar area was included for the storage of the customer’s many cook books and added a more decorative feature.
