Designer’s Notes

Mr & Mrs Ritchie were a pleasure to deal with. They had lots of ideas about the design of their new kitchen as they were having an extension built on the back of their house in order to give them a brighter, bigger, more sociable kitchen & family room. They are a busy couple with a young family of two so they had several requirements.

They were looking for a minimal kitchen with lots of storage and worktop space, however, it had to be stylish and practical as they spend a lot of time in this room.

We decided a tall bank along the back wall would combat the storage request, added an island using all deep drawers for ease of use and an additional run of units at the sink area to ensure there was definitely enough storage space.

We included a large Neff larder fridge, 900mm freezer, Neff slide & hide (self-cleaning) single oven, combination oven, warming drawer, large induction hob, ceiling extractor, dishwasher & wine cooler.

We also added a pull out tandem larder unit, pull out le-mans corner unit and an XL pull out bins to ensure we were getting the best use of space everywhere. We added some feature LED lighting to the underside of the worktop and above the tall bank to finish off the overall look. I love the colour combination they chose, I think they complement each other perfectly.
