A qualified architectural designer with a Masters in design from Napier University. With more than ten years of design experience, I have learnt to understand what my clients are uniquely looking for, in order to inject key aspects of their personality and stories into the design.
The client’s brief was very detailed for this design, with the focus being an airy and open feeling without looking too much like a kitchen.
Previously, the first thing that you would have seen coming into the space was an AGA, so I relocated that to the other wall, this helped me to avoid the “kitcheny” look as you enter the room. Continuing along these lines I designed the dining area to have some glass units and wall panelling which would grab your attention. Mirror splashback was used to bring more light into the room.
