Kitchen Finish
Lochalsh Smooth Painted Bancha, Leather and Temple
One of our Edinburgh clients wanted us to create a large kitchen and dining space in what used to be the lounge of their old school house. As a family they spend most of their time in the kitchen, so preferred for it to be in a bright position in the home over-looking, and with access to, their beautiful gardens.
It was important for the kitchen to have a large and spacious central island for preparing food and seating, with plenty of room surrounding it.
The client’s Aga is a key feature, built into the original fireplace with a mirrored splashback.
The client chose our Caledonia In-Frame kitchen with Lochalsh Smooth Painted Bancha, Leather and Temple doors and tongue and grooved side panels. The worktops are Verona quartz with iroko timber on the island.
A double sink is set into a large Verona quartz worktop which impressively fills the entire bay of the window. There is an integrated dishwasher, by Fisher and Paykel which features two separate drawers to be filled, fridge freezer again by Fisher and Paykel with a fridge to the top with French doors and a large pull-out freezer drawer below, under counter wine fridge, glass display cabinets and plenty of storage.
This kitchen is the hub of the home and offers a bright and warm space for family time and entertaining.
